About Step Up Talk

Step Up Talk Foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps subsidize the cost of initial therapy sessions for young people. We operate as a funding mechanism only.

No Medical or Clinical Advice

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes:

Crisis Services

Step Up Talk does not provide crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger:

Donations

Donations to Step Up Talk are used to subsidize therapy starter bundles for young people. By making a donation, you acknowledge that:

• Donations are voluntary and non-refundable
• We will use donations in accordance with our mission
• Tax deductibility depends on your jurisdiction; consult a tax advisor
• We do not guarantee specific outcomes from donations

Referrals

Referrals to Step Up Talk are accepted from local referrers such as teachers, counselors, mentors, and community members. By submitting a referral, you acknowledge that:

• You have a genuine relationship with the person being referred
• Approval is subject to our review process and available funding
• Step Up Talk does not guarantee acceptance or specific outcomes
• We will handle referral information in accordance with our Privacy Policy

No Guarantees

Step Up Talk makes no guarantees regarding:

• Therapy outcomes or effectiveness
• Availability of participating therapists
• Eligibility for the program
• Specific therapist qualifications beyond stated credentials

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Step Up Talk Foundation and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Step Up Talk Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services.
